Australian Off-Road Championship & Hattah Desert Race

This year, Todd Waters takes on the added challenge of competing in the Australian Off-Road Championship and Hattah Desert Race. In what is essentially his rookie off-road season (thanks to a drastically reduced 2020 season), he already shows a lot of promise. Growing up riding in the trails behind his parents property in the Atherton Tablelands, the transition to the off-road scene makes perfect sense.

Australian Motocross Championship

Todd's professional motocross career started when he was just 16 years old. Todd has raced several bike brands in Australia but has always performed best on the KTM / Husqvarna brand. True to his unique nature, he took the chance to ride in the MX1 (the men's) class at just 18 years of age and never looked back. He has had his fair share of hardship & injuries trying to secure an Australian Motocross Championship. With a few years spent racing in the World MXGP, finally, in dominant form, Todd won the 2019 Australian Motocross Championship. This year he will defend his title with everything he's got!

Todd spent two years onboard the IceOne RedBull Husqvarna Factory Team racing the World MXGP Championship. He secured his all time best result in 2015, a podium position in Italy. A testing two years living abroad, it has been the pinnacle of Todd's race career and he has shown the next generation of motocross athletes what is possible on the world scene.
Todd has also represented Australia four times in the Motocross of Nations. For any sport, it is the highest honour to represent your country and Todd has always risen to the occasion.

Australian Junior Motocross

Going back to where it all started, Todd is a five time Australian Junior Motocross Champion. Born and bred in Atherton, a small country town in Far North Queensland, it's safe to say that the Waters family have a huge love for the sport of motocross, giving Todd everything he needed to chase his dreams.
